AUTHORS

Dr. Simon Priest moved to the Key Peninsula after retiring from his first career as a university professor. Today, he writes and consults for corporations around the world on topics related to virtual teamwork. His love of history comes from a fascination with place and curiosity of people. An avid outdoorsperson, he has written over a dozen books.

The Key Peninsula Trails Committee (KPTC) was formed to sensibly develop and maintain a system of hiking, bicycling, kayaking, equestrian, and automobile trails for the Key Peninsula. KPTC publishes guidebooks for these routes.

The Key Peninsula Historical Society (KPHS) exists to promote interest in local history. They restore, preserve and offer education about the Key Peninsula's past. The KPHS museum is located near the Key Peninsula Civic Center in Vaughn
